A Perfect 1-Day Getaway to Bang Pu with Scenic Views and Delicious Seafood🕊

I wanted to go birdwatching and watch the sunset at a romantic spot, planning a 1-day trip from Nonthaburi to Bang Pu, arriving around 1 PM. Here’s how it went! 📍Sailom Bang Pu Café A famous café where everyone must stop for a photo and try their signature banana crepes and banana cakes. There are many seating areas, and the restaurant has a chill vibe. The interior is well-decorated. If you’re into crafts, there’s a workshop zone to hone your art skills. There are lots of photo opportunities, and I love the seaside seating, but it might not be ideal to go in the afternoon because of the intense heat, which made me lose my mood for photos. If you’re not planning to watch birds, I recommend going in the evening when it would be much more beautiful. 📍Bang Pu Recreation Center I arrived around 4:30 PM, grabbed some snacks (there are vendors selling food right at the entrance), and strolled along the bridge to see the mudskippers and explore the mangrove ecosystem. By around 5 PM, it was time to go birdwatching. From a distance, I could already see there were many birds, but up close, it was truly impressive (I hope you get to see plenty of birds!). I’ve never seen so many birds gathered together before. It was fun taking pictures, and the people around were very respectful, watching the birds quietly. Watching birds while enjoying the sunset really warmed my heart. I never thought there would be such a beautiful spot so close to Bangkok. I really want everyone to see it for themselves. 🧡💛 🕊 Birds are around from October to February every year, so hurry and visit! 📍Rim Kheun Seafood Restaurant Since it was already late, I wanted to find a good restaurant on the way home, and I ended up at this one. I had seen reviews about seaside restaurants saying the prices weren’t too high (but actually, they were expensive). So, I decided to focus on enjoying the birdwatching more. However, when I got to this restaurant, I found that it was affordable indeed! The food was really cheap—just 460 THB for 4 dishes for two people. The food was served quickly, and the seafood was fresh and delicious.
