Daisen Park: This central park in Sakai City is located next to the Emperor's Mausoleum. It has beautiful Japanese gardens, perfect for taking photos. It's also a great spot for cherry blossom viewing in spring. It's a less-crowded, scenic spot. Daisen Park was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Sakai City. Similar to Kyoto's Heian Shrine, which was built to commemorate the 1100th anniversary of the capital's move from Nara to Kyoto. Across from the park is the Emperor Nintoku's Mausoleum, one of the three largest tombs in the world. This mausoleum is as famous as the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor and the Great Pyramid of Giza. You can't enter the mausoleum, only view it from the outside. The mausoleum is surrounded by trees, so you can't see much. Plus, it has a perimeter of over 3 km, so walking around it can be tiring. Emperor Nintoku's Mausoleum is one of the largest ancient tombs in Japan and the world, and its grandeur is breathtaking.
