Railway Museum No. 1 Locomotive

We arrived at the area inside the Railway Museum where Shimbashi Station has been recreated! The train that is preserved here is the No. 1 locomotive. This vehicle was the first railway introduced in Japan and came from England! Amazingly, only one train set of this vehicle was ever introduced! It is an extremely valuable vehicle that has been designated a national treasure and important cultural property!
