Medieval history and the coast

After dealing with the rush at saint Mont michell, our next stop was saint malo. First impressions were very promising. Here was a beautiful city, bigger abs less crowded than Mont Michelle. What was striking is that the whole town looked like a medieval fort and the coast around. With good weather this made for a fantastic holiday setting. The place seemed lively with restaurants and shopping venues. The main thing to do here is to walk the ramparts of saint malo. That provided for plenty of views. We even headed to the beach we spotted while walking. It was a nice beach with clear water. I think you wont be disappointed by saint malo. #myhiddengems
