Elephant Cave

Khao Rup Chang Cave, located on the sacred mountain, is located inside Khao Rup Chang Temple. It is a popular tourist attraction for Thai, Malaysian and Singaporean tourists because it is a beautiful and quiet cave, suitable for relaxation, meditation and Dhamma practice. The way up to Khao Rup Chang Cave is built as a seven-headed Naga staircase. In front of the cave entrance is a large golden-yellow Buddha statue for tourists to worship and ask for blessings. In addition, the front of the cave looks like an elephant's head. When entering the cave, the first thing you will notice is the magnificence of the cave because it is a large limestone cave filled with sacred objects. There are Buddha statues in various postures, reclining Buddha, hermit statues and Chinese deities such as Guan Yin and Sangkachai. Inside the cave, there are also smaller caves such as Fai Saeng Cave, Ti Jang Bodhisattva Cave, Chao Khao Cave and Guan Yin Cave. #WinterTravel
