If you come to Cha-am, I recommend this place: Talay Hotel. The accommodation is clean, beautifully decorated, the rooms are clean and safe. Most importantly, it is located by the sea. In the early evening, you will see shops lining the beach. It is easy to find a place to eat. There is a 7-11 and many other shops. The price is reasonable and it is as advertised.
