Guoqing Temple, the birthplace of the Tiantai sect of Buddhism in China

The ancient temple of the Sui dynasty, Guoqing Temple, is not only the birthplace of the Tiantai sect of Buddhism in China but also the ancestral temple for the Tiantai sect in Korea and Japan. Guoqing Temple boasts three wonders: the Sui pagoda, Sui plum, and the unique 'Goose' calligraphy by Wang Xizhi.
