Perth｜Rottnest Island 🩵

My favorite place in Perth is definitely Rottnest Island!!! The jellyfish sea is truly dreamy, and the little animals, quokkas, are unbelievably healing. I spent the whole day immersed in the happiness of being "surrounded by cuteness" 🥹💙 🚢 Transportation｜For those who don’t get seasick, come here We took a taxi from the Pan Pacific hotel to Fremantle Wharf to catch the ferry. If you get seasick easily, please take this route! It only takes half an hour to get to the island. We took the 9:30 am ferry going and the 4:30 pm ferry back. The timing was just right—not rushed but enough time to fully enjoy, very comfortable pace~ 🚌 Island Bus｜The easiest way to tour the island The island bus costs $30 per person. I bought tickets in advance on the official website. After getting off the ferry, just go to the Main Bus Stop, show the staff your email to exchange for a wristband, and you can queue to board~ 📍 Recommended Stops (the most chill route) We visited stops 6 → 7 → 8 → 19 → 1. This route lets you see the most beautiful sea views without getting too tired. I highly recommend this route. 📌 Stop 6 Jeannies Lookout A sea view photo spot with strong but very comfortable wind! The view is very open~ 📌 Stop 7 Little Salmon Bay (my favorite on the whole island!!) I would crown this as the most beautiful bay on Rottnest!!! Jellyfish sea + sapphire waves 🌊 Every photo looks like a phone wallpaper, and it’s even more beautiful to the naked eye than in pictures! 📌 Stop 8 Lighthouse The highest point on the island, where you can overlook the entire island, and there’s also a lighthouse. 📌 Stop 19 Geordie Bay There’s a very cozy little café here, and quokkas 🐿️ often appear!!! We ordered berry smoothies and juice 🍹, drank cold drinks under the shade of trees, listened to music, and played with quokkas~ The scene was so healing and leisurely 🍓🧉🐿️ 📌 Stop 1 (right by the wharf) There are lots of quokkas at the small square before boarding the ferry! You can interact with them just by holding a leaf—they’re so adorably dumb it melts your heart😍 Finally, we enjoyed the sea breeze under a big tree, took photos, and slowly waited for the ferry—a perfect ending.
