[Rottnest Island, Australia] How to get around the island🚲

Rottnest Island is prohibited from driving due to environmental considerations, so you cannot get around by car 🙅‍♂️ There are three ways to enjoy the island: ① on foot, ② by bus, ③ by bicycle. ① on foot It is difficult to get around the island, so you are limited to strolling around the port area, but the island's idol, the quokkas, are concentrated in the center around the port, so I think you can do it if you are looking for quokkas☺️ ② by bus I'm not confident in my physical strength, but I want to get around the island! If you are in that situation, choose the bus🚍 If you purchase a Hop on & Hop off bus ticket, which allows you to get on and off freely at 19 bus stops on the island, you can easily access the main spots🙆‍♂️ The ticket costs A$25. However, the bus only runs once every 30 minutes, so you will have to wait for the bus and the time will be limited, so be careful☝️ There seems to be a 90-minute bus tour around the island (A$55). ③ Bicycle This time, I chose this option 🙋‍♂️ You can go wherever you want with flexibility in your time, so if you have the stamina, bicycles are the best option! (Sorry, I'm not a very strong person 🙈) I was able to go halfway around the island clockwise from the port, taking photos and taking breaks here and there, and covering 21km in about 3.5 hours 🏁 Cycling while feeling the breeze and looking at the sea is liberating and feels great ✨ However, there are many roads with quite a few ups and downs, so please enjoy at your own pace without pushing yourself too hard. Water and sun protection are also essential 🌞 You can also rent a bicycle locally, and a regular bicycle costs A$30.
