A New Zealand travel destination with water gushing from underground🇳🇿

🛄 : Te-Puia Thermal Land The highlight of Te Puia is Pohutu Geyser, the largest geyser in the Southern Hemisphere. 'Pohutu' means 'spouting' in Maori, and just like its name, this geyser creates an amazing scene as if it were shooting water into the sky. Luckily, when I visited, the geyser was active, and I was able to see a column of water shooting up to about 20m high. It felt like nature was alive and breathing and showing off its power. The steam and water droplets spewed out by the geyser filled the surrounding air, and I could feel the hot heat and humidity on my skin!! There were also several mud pools in Te Puia where mud was bubbling up. These pools smelled strongly of sulfur, but it was interesting to see nature in action up close. The 'pong pong' sound of the mud boiling and the scene of the mud splashing up gave a unique and mysterious feeling.
