This time in Venice, I visited a local cafe for coffee. I was staying in Quarto d'Altino, a small Venetian neighborhood, and stopped by A casa di Alma, an espresso bar popular with locals for breakfast. I ordered a cappuccino, espresso, and orange bread for €5.10. As a local espresso cafe, the coffee was very affordable at €1.80. The staff were all very friendly, and the espresso bar had a very cozy atmosphere. They said they open for breakfast in the afternoon. In the morning, there were plenty of options, including a variety of sandwiches, croissants, and donuts. I sat on the terrace overlooking the cathedral in Quattro d'Altino for breakfast. The cappuccino had a perfect, thick foam that made it easy to finish, the espresso had a wonderfully bitter taste, and the bread, which was sweet yet refreshing, was a delight.
