The moment I walked through its massive bronze doors, I was struck by the sheer scale of the space—a vast, open dome stretching above me, its perfect symmetry creating an almost otherworldly sense of balance. The oculus, the central opening at the dome’s peak, allowed natural light to pour in, casting a soft glow on the intricate marble floors and towering Corinthian columns. The way the sunlight shifted throughout the day gave the Pantheon an ever-changing atmosphere, as if the structure itself was alive, responding to time and nature.
