Otatomari Swamp is a very popular tourist spot that is said to be the busiest on Rishiri Island. Before COVID-19, it was full of foreign visitors to Japan. A beautiful swamp surrounded by a virgin forest of red spruce trees. The world created by the blue lake surface and Mt. Rishiri is an impressive sight. If the weather and other conditions are right, you might even be able to see an upside-down Rishiri Fuji?!
