The Sun Inn

There's something very pleasing about walking into a pub you've never been to before and instantly knowing it's home from home for the locals. The Sun Inn, just off the main drag in Richmond, is exactly that. The old boys watching football are there. The young parents out for a drink with the double buggy (no evidence they had brought children with them) took up a corner position. Several solo drinkers were reading over a pint in the pub's back room. Like the Divine Comedy's National Express song, 'all human life is here'.
