[Weather] May 1 and 2 will be sunny. May 3 and 4 might have showers. After the rain, the Danxia landform becomes even more mysterious, shrouded in clouds and mist. Cloud seas are common, making sunrises and sunsets even more stunning. Temperatures range from 20–30 degrees Celsius. It's a bit cool in the morning and evening, but hot at noon. It's recommended to bring a light jacket for sun protection. II. [Transportation Guide] High-Speed Rail: Shaoguan Station. Direct shuttle buses to Danxia Mountain are available right outside the station exit; running every half hour from 8:40–18:45. Train: Shaoguan East Station. Direct shuttle buses to Danxia Mountain are available right outside the station exit; running every 20 minutes from 6:50–19:30. Danxia Mountain Station. Direct shuttle buses to Danxia Mountain are available right outside the station exit; buses meet arriving trains. Self-Driving: Navigate to Danxia Mountain Lingfeng Shanju. It's a 3-hour drive from Guangzhou or a 4-hour drive from Shenzhen. III. [Tickets] Main Entrance Ticket: From May 1–5, tickets are 20% off, costing 80/person (Free entry for those with Dongguan household registration). Don't trust motorcycle touts offering to find you cheap accommodation or food! 2. Don't believe anyone claiming they can get you into the scenic area for a low or half price! 3. Avoid taking the cable car during holidays; the queues are too long! 4. Be cautious if bringing pets! Pets are not allowed on public transport, cable cars, or cruise boats! V.
