The World Heritage Island for Growing Garden Vegetables

The monasteries or churches on the island are quite scattered. It is more convenient to drive as the bus services are infrequent, with each bus an hour apart. However, I chose to walk, passing by several greenhouses growing vegetables and various plants along the way, which was very relaxing and enjoyable. I was able to visit the publicly accessible St. Mark's Church, as well as the closed St. Peter's Church and St. Paul's Church. Although St. Mark's Church is small, it looks magnificent inside. St. Peter's and St. Paul's are still stunning from the outside. If you are planning a day trip to Lake Constance, it is well worth a visit. It takes some time to get there by public transport. You can also take the RE2 S6 from Konstanz to Reichenau (Baden) station, then transfer to bus 204 / 1300 to the Reichenau Island Tourist Information Center. The bus driver only speaks German.
