Quick Trip Review: Reading, UK 🇬🇧

Did a little day trip to Reading and honestly, pleasantly surprised! First stop was Reading Abbey Ruins — super peaceful with all the old stone walls and arches tucked right in the middle of town. Can’t believe this place is nearly 900 years old… Henry I is buried here (bit of medieval trivia for the day 😅). After that, popped into the Reading Museum — small but packed with cool stuff! Loved the Victorian replica of the Bayeux Tapestry (full-length version) — didn’t expect to see that here of all places. Overall, cute town, easy to explore, loads of history hiding behind the shopping streets. Worth a half-day visit if you’re nearby! #travel #reading #staycation #trip
