Several boats taking tourists to nearby islands also depart from this pier. It is possible to descend from the steps of the pier onto the sand and walk into the shallow waters. The long jetty that juts out into the sea makes an awesome instagram spot! I highly recommending giving the pier a visit if you find yourself in the vicinity of Rawai.
