Visit the Pier at Rawai Beach

Rawai beach is located in the most southern beach in Phuket only it is not for swimming. Rawai Beach is used to store boats and its pier used for ferries. Since its beach isn’t good enough for swimming, it is not a very touristic area but it is civilized due to a high number of expats living there. It is still worth visiting Rawai Beach because there is a number of restaurants and bars located right on the beach so you can eat and dink with a stunning view of shimmering blue. Another reason to visit Rawai Beac is to visit the Rawai beach pier. It is a beautiful long pier that leads into the ocean. The view from the pier is simply stunning and I even saw some people jumping in the water and snorkeling at the end of the pier. I could see a lot of islands in the horizon and a lot of fish in the sea while standing there. You can take a ferry to Koh Phi Phi (from the movie The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio) from Rawai Pier. Check with local tour agencies for tickets or books your on the Trip.com app. You can easily get to Rawai beach by Phuket Smart Bus if you stay along the bus route (bus fare is 100THB) or a local bus from Phuket Town (bus fare is around 40THB), you can also grab a taxi or drive your own scooter or car to get to Rawai Beach.
