Hiking Up Khuha Mountain in Rattaphum

#newyearnewtrip #thailandtrip To end 2024 on a high note, we hiked up Khuha Mountain in Rattaphum, about an hour from Hat Yai. We started in the dark, climbing up a manageable trail (less than 1km). By the time we reached the top, the sky was starting to light up. The sunrise was breathtaking—orange, pink, and gold spread across the sky. Knowing it was the last sunrise of the year made it even more special. A few friendly dogs roamed around, mingling with the hikers and adding to the fun. One even looks like my mom's pet dog at home, and it let me pet her. There was also a couple having a picnic and were kind enough to let us borrow their picnic setup for some quick photos. It was such a fun and wholesome moment! So much laughter while posing to get the best shots here. The hike, the views, and the friendly vibes made it the perfect way to end the year. If you're ever near Hat Yai, don't miss a chance to hike Khuha Mountain! But do plan your trip and bring the necessary equipment like torchlights, drinks, hiking shoes and other necessary items.
