It is worth a visit for friends from other places. 🌄 Morning: Visit the world's largest octagonal tulou - Daoyun Building Tour time: 45 minutes to 1 hour 🌈 Scenic Spot Introduction: Daoyun Building is an extremely rare "Bagua-shaped" octagonal tulou. It is the largest Hakka tulou discovered in China so far. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. The structure of Daoyun Building is full of Chaoshan mythology. Everything in the building is a multiple of 8 - 8 sides, 16 corner rooms, 32 wells, 56 main rooms, 72 rooms in total, and 112 stairs. 🤲 You can take the escalator to the third floor of Daoyun Building to overlook the panoramic view, which is quite spectacular. For safety reasons, only 20 people are allowed to go to the third floor at a time. You need to queue up. It is especially suitable for taking photos and checking in 📷. 🍜 Noon: Lunch and tour at Qinglan Guai Jiu Valley 🚗 Qinglan Guai Jiu Valley is only half an hour's drive from Daoyun Building. It is recommended to take the expressway (Dachao Expressway, get on at Sanrao Expressway Exit, get off at Zhangxi Expressway Exit, only two expressway exits away). You need to buy tickets when you arrive. Then go to the Banshan Shifang Restaurant to taste the special delicacies, such as Stone Mortar Chicken, Black Pig Big Pot Dish, and Boiled Black Pork, which are must-try dishes. Especially the black pork, which is smooth and chewy, fat but not greasy. It is very satisfying to take a bite with the special sauce. 🌊 Afternoon: After lunch at Banshan Shifang Restaurant, go directly to the billion-year-old site of Guai Jiu Valley to experience the magic of nature. It is also the filming location of the movie "Never Say Die". There are waterfalls, potholes, and strange stones. You can also have tea at the waterfall tea house when you are tired. The scenic spot is very good. You don't have to go back. Just keep going forward, go around, and go down the mountain. Finally, visit the Geological Museum to learn some knowledge... and the trip is over.
