#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck 🏘The Ranong Governor's Residence, also known as "In the Camp," was built in 1877 by Phraya Damrong Sucharit Mahison Phakdi (Kosimkong), his second son, for his father, Phraya Damrong Sucharit Mahison Phakdi (Kosujiang), the first governor of Ranong and the ancestor of the "Na Ranong" family. King Rama V visited here in 1890. 🏯The residence was originally a compact Chinese-style house built of fresh brick and mortar, with a wooden upper structure and tiled roof. It was surrounded by a wall, with gun ports and multiple entrances. 🎯The governor's residence served as the administrative center and residence of the Ranong governor's family, from the first to the next. Inside, several important buildings are housed, including a guest house, a warehouse, a fifteen-room building, and a shrine for the ancestors of the Na Ranong clan. 🧱Currently, the original house is damaged and partially intact, and restoration is underway. Most of the fence has collapsed. Many of the buildings are no longer in use. 🏕 However, they remain the residences of descendants of the "Na Ranong" family.
