Recommended Iceland attractions | Skógafoss, a waterfall with a 95% chance of seeing a rainbow

Today we spent our entire trip visiting waterfalls. After visiting Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfrabúi, we headed straight to Skógafoss (also known as the Rainbow Waterfall). This waterfall is said to be the filming location for the famous movies "White Nights" and "Thor 2". Movie fans should definitely not miss it. The waterfall is 15 meters wide and 60 meters high. Due to the large amount of water in the waterfall, it produces a lot of water vapor. When the weather is clear, you can see a rainbow under the sunlight. If you are lucky, you can even see a double rainbow, so it is named Rainbow Falls. There is a huge parking lot in front of the waterfall, which is currently free.
