Rainbow Mountain

As the name suggests, Rainbow Mountain is like the colors of a rainbow. It is 140 kilometers away from Cusco, with an altitude of 5,200 meters. 14 different mineral deposits create the colorful scenery. In fact, Rainbow Mountain is covered with ice and snow all year round. It was not until 2016 that it was discovered due to the melting of glaciers and snow on the mountains due to global warming. The layers of striped colors stacked in sequence are truly a masterpiece of nature.
