Henan Museum launches a major new exhibition—Confucius Travels Through the States

❤❤ Featuring 197 precious artifacts (sets) from 28 cultural and museum institutions nationwide, the exhibition combines artifact displays, scene restorations, multimedia interactions, and other presentation methods. Using artifacts as the medium and the exhibition as the bridge, it recreates Confucius’s journey to promote his teachings over 2,500 years ago. ❤❤ The exhibition is divided into three parts: "Seeking the Way—Ideal and Reality," "Promoting the Way—Rituals in the Central Plains," and "Inheriting the Way—Songs Through the Ages." The Ming Dynasty painting "Sacred Traces" from the Confucius Museum collection runs throughout the exhibition, showcasing Confucius’s process from studying and governing, to traveling through the states to advocate his benevolent governance, and finally returning to the State of Lu to compile the Classic of Poetry and the Classic of History to pass on his great teachings. ❤❤ The exhibition is located in Hall 16 on the first floor of the main exhibition hall of Henan Museum, open free to the public, running from now until March 8, 2026.
