"Two towers of east and west, a street north and south", this street refers to the place where the Quanzhou arcade building complex is located - Zhongshan Road. It runs from Jiangbin North Road in the south to the Bell Tower in the north. It is nearly 3 kilometers long and has precipitated the stories and history of Quanzhou since the Tang and Song Dynasties. The arcades on Zhongshan Road carry history everywhere, precipitating the soul of Quanzhou City. The building is surrounded by red clear water bricks, vintage window displays, old-style Nanyang-style carvings, and green gourd-shaped porcelain railings in front of the dome platform. The colors are extremely pleasing.
