Quanzhou trip, smooth and perfect for families and off-the-beaten-path!

Quanzhou two days one night | Family-friendly and off-the-beaten-path travel ✨This time in Quanzhou, I chose to stay at Wanda Plaza Bona Hotel on West Street, Quanzhou, and the experience was fantastic! 📍The hotel is located at No. 123 Jinhui Street, Fengze District, with a super convenient location. There are many tourist attractions nearby, making travel very easy. Whether going to the bustling West Street or other popular scenic spots, a taxi ride is quick. 🏨The hotel offers free parking, so friends driving here don’t have to worry about parking at all. When checking in, the front desk staff were warm and attentive, even thoughtfully offering free self-service drinks, instantly boosting my impression! The rooms are spacious, with excellent natural lighting, warmly and comfortably decorated, clean and hygienic, making the stay very reassuring. 🌆Here’s the two-day one-night Quanzhou itinerary, focusing on relaxation and perfect for traveling with kids~ Day 1: Morning: Arrive in Quanzhou, check into the hotel and rest briefly, then head to Chongfu Temple. Located on Chongfu Road in Licheng District, it is one of Quanzhou’s three major monasteries. The temple environment is serene, the architecture simple and ancient, allowing visitors to feel a strong Buddhist atmosphere. Kids can learn quietness and reverence in this peaceful setting. Noon: Taste Quanzhou’s local specialties nearby, such as misua (thin wheat noodles) and meat zongzi (rice dumplings), each bite full of Minnan flavor. Afternoon: Visit Chengtian Temple, an ancient temple founded during the Five Dynasties and Southern Tang period, originally named “Nanchan Temple,” and renamed “Chengtian” in the fourth year of the Song Dynasty’s Jingde era. The temple has ancient banyan trees shading the area, a legend of “flies not flying into the alley,” a grand and solemn Mahavira Hall, as well as Song Dynasty stone sutra pillars and a millennium-old well. Kids can learn about history and culture here and feel the Zen spirit of the ancient temple. Evening: Return near the hotel, stroll through the lively streets, enjoy some snacks, and rest early to recharge for the next day. Day 2: Morning: Head to Donghu Park, which covers 308 acres and is divided into cultural leisure, entertainment and sports, and logistics support zones. Enter through the west gate to visit the free botanical science museum, where various beautiful plants will amaze the kids. Further inside is the playground loved by children, with rides like the Ferris wheel to enjoy for half a day, full of laughter and joy. Noon: Dine near Donghu Park, trying local seafood or special home-style dishes. Afternoon: Visit Xihu Park, known for its beautiful scenery and shimmering lake waters. Take a walk along the lakeside, enjoy the picturesque views, very relaxing. Kids can run and play on the lawn, getting close to nature. Evening: Pack up and head home with wonderful memories. Staying at Wanda Plaza Bona Hotel on West Street, Quanzhou, added a lot of comfort and convenience to my Quanzhou trip.
