Qionghai Boao Island Forest Hotel, enjoy a relaxing time

This was my first time in Boao, and I stayed at Qionghai Boao Island Forest Hotel for 3 nights to enjoy a relaxing time. In the lobby, you can help yourself to refreshing iced tea, warm partridge tea, and green bananas. The bananas are small, but they taste good. The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are well maintained. There is an outdoor pool, a mini children's water park, and the beach is very close. There are many restaurants nearby, and many of them are delicious. After sunset, there are many fruit stalls at the street entrance. Compared to the north, the prices are cheap. You can eat durian, mango, yellow passion fruit, wampi, starfruit, and more until you're full. There is also a Zhao Yiming snack shop nearby. I traveled with two kids, so I chose a family room with breakfast for three and a sea view. The room has a double bed and a single bed, and there is a table with cushions where you can sit and enjoy tea. The breakfast noodles are delicious, the fruit changes daily, and you can also eat Hainanese dim sum. The complimentary afternoon tea is also great. It starts at 3:30 pm and offers two kinds of dim sum and drinks, which change daily. The kids loved it. We even postponed our high-speed train tickets to enjoy the afternoon tea on the third day. The hotel description mentioned a coconut event, and there was an organizer and a fun introduction. However, the coconuts were all used up in previous events, but they did provide coconut water. The hotel pool is a surprise for those traveling with kids. There is a mini children's water park, and the water is shallow. The water sprays at regular intervals in the morning and afternoon, and the kids had a great time. The shallow and deep areas of the pool are clearly marked, and after swimming, you can go to the fish therapy pool and let the fish nibble on the dead skin on your feet. Not far from the hotel is Yudaiwan Beach, where you can dig in the sand and collect shells. It's great for kids. During our stay, the waves were big and the water was a bit murky. There are a few restaurants on the beach, and they all taste good. Group buying is not expensive. When it gets dark, the fireworks start on the beach. They go off intermittently until the early morning. Lying in bed at the hotel, listening to the crackling of the fireworks, it feels like New Year's Eve.
