There is a wild luxury hotel hidden in the most beautiful canyon selected by National Geographic. The itinerary is specially launched for checking in a hotel. When searching for places to visit around Beijing during the Qingming Festival, I found the Dalezhiye Hotel located in Laoniuwan, the first bend of the Yellow River in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. I was instantly attracted by the wild luxury style of the hotel. It is also pet-friendly. I have to visit it! Itinerary: We drove from Beijing, so the trip was divided into 4 days. It was not rushed and very relaxing overall. We also checked in at Datong and Ulanqab along the way. Friends who are traveling on May Day can refer to it. Day 1 Beijing-Datong 3h30min, stay in Datong; Day 2 Datong-Laoniuwan 3h; Day 3 Laoniuwan - Ulanqab 4h (via Xingba Expressway, the road condition is too bad, too bad, too bad!! We checked into the room closest to the canyon, and could see stunning views as soon as we pushed open the door! There were welcome fruits and homemade dairy products for free, and the quality was good. Meals: You can eat three meals in the hotel and basically don’t need to go out. Lunch and dinner are available in set menus or a la carte, and the taste is very good. Surroundings: The scenery of Laoniu Bay is very shocking! Especially at sunset, the afterglow dyes the entire canyon red, which is definitely worth seeing! There are actually not many places to play around the hotel. There is a road next to the hotel that allows you to hike to the bottom of the canyon, but half a day is enough.
