Qingdao Tianhou Temple, located at No. 19, Taiping Road, Shinan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, opposite the Zhanqiao Scenic Area, was built in the third year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1467) and was originally named "Tianfei Palace". In the 23rd year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1684), it was renamed "Tianhou Temple". It underwent many repairs and expansions during the Kangxi and Tongzhi periods of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, and eventually reached its current size. On December 7, 2006, Qingdao Folk Museum was located in Qingdao Tianhou Palace. It is a public welfare institution that collects, displays and studies Mazu culture, folk culture and marine culture. There are two huge ginkgo trees in front of the Tianhou Temple, one male and one female. The ginkgo leaves have turned completely yellow, and the ground is golden. There are not many people in the courtyard, so you can not only take pictures of the ginkgo trees, but also watch the koi in the courtyard.
