I've been to so many coastal cities, but I still miss Qingdao the most. 🏝️|||I went to Qingdao not long ago and stayed at the only Hyatt hotel in the city, the Hyatt Regency Qingdao. I was only 4 nights away from Globalist status, so I had to go. Hotel 🏨: The hotel opened in 2014, and the facilities are still in good condition. The hotel has a lot of Chinese elements in its design, including the rooms, which have wooden stools, tables, and TV cabinets. Location 📍: The hotel is in Laoshan District, a little far from downtown Qingdao, but not too far. The hotel is right on Shilaoren Beach, and you can walk straight to the beach from the hotel. It's very convenient to play by the sea. 🌊 Room type 🛏️: 1. I stayed in a Club King Room, which was a square shape. 2. There was a walk-in closet, which was very convenient for storing luggage and hanging clothes. 🤗 3. I was only an Explorist when I stayed, but I was still upgraded to a Club Room. I was told that I wouldn't get Club benefits, which was a little disappointing, but understandable. Check-in experience: 1. The TV 📺 can be cast to! The TV is also very big, which is great for watching shows. 2. The room had a big square table, which was very convenient for eating takeout. The best part of staying in a hotel is eating takeout in bed. 3. The bathroom lights 💡 have two modes: "Bright" and "Night." In Night mode, only the light strips are on, which is very thoughtful. 👍 4. There was a Bluetooth speaker that could wirelessly charge my phone. 🔋 5. There was a robot that delivered food, so I didn't have to go downstairs to get it. However, during peak times, it might take a while. 🕐 6. Every day when I came back, I would find a local drink, like Laoshan Cola, in my room. 🥤 7. I asked for slippers twice during my stay, and the third time, they left a bag with a few pairs of slippers outside my door. They really care about their guests' needs, which is a big plus. The details of the service are very important and can improve the experience. Price 💰: The price isn't expensive during the off-season. With the Hyatt ❤️, a standard room is only 500+, which is a great deal. 🥳 Overall, it's worth staying here. It's a great place to relax and unwind by the sea.
