Meizhou Island Day Trip in Putian

Had breakfast with Qiu Shengjianbao, tasted good, just had to queue for a while, the vendor was busy with takeaway orders, somewhat indifferent to the customers in front of them. After breakfast, took a bus to the Putian Bus Station, where there is a bus to the Meizhou Island ferry terminal. The combined ferry and entrance ticket costs 125 yuan, with many ferry departures, so you can board quickly. Once on the island, you can walk directly to the Mazu Ancestral Temple, the most important attraction on the island. Or, like me, take the No. 1 bus directly to the end of the line, Goose Tail Marine Erosion Park. There are some natural landscapes there, among which Feiji Cave is the most famous. Walking along the seaside plank road, the scenery changes with every step, pleasing to the eye. After viewing the landscapes of the Marine Erosion Park, you can take a bus directly to the Mazu Ancestral Temple. Or, like me, ride a shared bicycle and pick a few spots on the mobile map to check out. In hindsight, those spots weren't worth the visit. It was more meaningful to ride around at will, observing the local life and roadside scenery. The island's transportation is convenient, with buses, sightseeing cars, and shared bicycles to choose from. The Ancestral Temple is more religious than scenic, with the majority of people going there to burn incense and pray. Today, I also saw believers from the Taiwan region coming here to worship, which was quite interesting. Watching their orderly procession, with drumming and blowing, was lively and attracted many people to take photos. After visiting the Ancestral Temple, continued to ride around the island, some seaside road sections have nice views. Spent a total of 5 hours on the island, overall, the most worthwhile places to visit are the Ancestral Temple and Goose Tail Marine Erosion Park, and the best experience is to ride an electric bike around at will. 🚉Transportation Tips: Before entering the island, take a bus; after entering, choose from buses, shared bicycles, or sightseeing cars. 👍Most Recommended: It's suggested to ride a shared bicycle around the island at will, freely and comfortably.
