Breakfast buffets are always in high demand, and this particular one by Horizon Cafe has its own plus points. The cafe is located on the fifth floor of the hotel, with glass walls that are windows to a slightly elevated view of the city. The spread includes eggs made to order, waffles, pancakes, Malaysian-inspired savory plates such as fried and soup noodles, porridge, and a dish rarely eaten for breakfast - nasi minyak. On the sweet side, there are good varieties of cakes, danishes and pastries, and cut-up fruits. On the health-conscious side, cool salad bowls are available, to balance everything off. All this, in a classically furnished environment, where one might enjoy the start of the day without any rush, deliciously, nutritiously and calmly. Seconds are allowed, of course, if one is so inclined.
