I found a hidden gem in Pu'er

By chance, I stayed at a hidden gem in Pu'er: Pu'er Deting Boutique Hotel (Simao District Chama Ancient City Branch). I can say that this is the most cost-effective hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel is exquisitely decorated, and although the style is a bit old, it is well maintained and very clean. When we went, the hotel was still changing the carpet in the corridor. The price is that of a three-star hotel, but the service is better than many five-star hotels! The staff are all energetic and friendly, and they work very well and have a strong sense of service! Whenever we met the staff, they were always polite and greeted us warmly. Although it is a self-service laundry service, it is actually free delivery. The staff helped us collect our clothes for washing and care, and then delivered the washed clothes back to the room. It was so considerate! The self-service breakfast and lunch have a wide variety of dishes, which are well-matched and taste good. There are also late-night snacks (wontons, soup noodles) after 8:00 pm, and snacks and fruits are prepared in the lobby every afternoon. There is a free parking lot in the backyard of the hotel, and you can take a walk at night. When we went out in the morning, the front desk staff took the initiative to ask us if we needed heated bottled water, which really made us feel at home. Pu'er is warm in winter and cool in summer. Deting Boutique Hotel (Simao District Chama Ancient City Branch) is very suitable for retirement, vacation, and short stays. The hotel is three or four kilometers away from Pu'er Chama Ancient Road Ruins Park, and a little farther from Ximah River Wetland Park, about six or seven kilometers. It is about five kilometers from Meizi Lake Scenic Area, and it is very convenient to ride a shared electric bike or take a taxi. The wild cherry blossoms bloom in late December, so it is a good time to go to the Chama Ancient Road or Meizi Lake for flower viewing and hiking. I will stay here again next time.
