A homestay in Tian Gan Qiong Village, Pu'er

Every choice we make has its pros and cons, and so it is between hotels and guesthouses. Whether in China or elsewhere, whenever possible, I prefer to stay in guesthouses or family hotels. The main reason is the opportunity to meet locals and experience their way of life, to see the place through the eyes of the locals. In this sense, chatting and dialoguing with the innkeeper becomes an indispensable part of the travel experience and determines our experience of the travel destination. During my stay in Pu'er, I was very fortunate to choose to stay at Gu'an Guesthouse. The innkeeper gave me more than I hoped for: sincere smiles, beautiful environment, clean rooms, affordable prices, and cozy afternoon tea time. Most importantly, I had the opportunity to get more information about the surrounding attractions and the future direction of tourism development in Tian Gan Qiong Village. Happy New Year everyone 🍾🎉
