Mrs Macquarie's Chair

#tripTraveling to China Mrs Macquarie's Chair or Lady Macquarie's Chair was created by cutting and carving a large stone by convicts in 1810. The name comes from Elizabeth Macquarie, the wife of Major General Lachlan Macquarie, the Governor of New South Wales. This peninsula was known as Yurong Point and is now widely known as Mrs Macquarie's Point. Anyone who visits can come and take pictures.
