#traveldiaries Exploring Porto’s Old Town was like stepping into a living postcard! 🏛️ The narrow, cobblestone streets are lined with charming, colorful buildings that seem straight out of a fairytale. I wandered through the Ribeira district by the Douro River, where the vibrant atmosphere and picturesque views were incredible. 🚤 The area is free to explore, and there’s so much to see – from the historic Livraria Lello (entry €5, redeemable on book purchases) to the stunning São Bento Railway Station with its beautiful azulejos. I also visited the Porto Cathedral, which had a small fee of €3. The views from the cathedral’s terrace were fantastic. 🌅 For a treat, I stopped by a local café for a Francesinha, a must-try Porto specialty. 🍽️ The Old Town is filled with lively bars and quaint shops, making it the perfect place to spend a day soaking up the local culture.
