On the east coast of Australia, Port Macquarie is like a hidden gem, exuding a captivating charm. This time, I embarked on a dreamy four-day, three-night journey to this land. Day 1: Arrival at the Harbor, Immersed in First Impressions of the Seaside I arrived in Port Macquarie just as the sun was shining brightly. Stepping out of the airport, the fresh sea breeze greeted me, instantly dispelling the fatigue of the journey. I checked in to a seaside guesthouse. Looking out the window, the vast blue sea stretched out before me. After a short rest, I strolled along the coastal path. The golden sand shimmered under the sunlight, and the waves gently lapped against the shore, creating a pleasant melody. In the distance, the sea and sky merged into one, with seagulls circling overhead. This scene was truly mesmerizing. Continuing along the path, I passed by numerous cafes and unique shops. I settled down at a cafe, ordered a latte, admired the sea view, and savored the laid-back atmosphere of this harbor city. Day 2: Exploring Nature, Embracing the Pristine Wilderness On the second day, I headed to a nature reserve near Port Macquarie. The area was covered in lush vegetation, full of pristine life. Hiking along the forest trails, I was surrounded by verdant trees, and the cheerful chirping of birds filled the air. Deep within the reserve, there was a tranquil lake. The crystal-clear water reflected the surrounding mountains and trees. I found a grassy spot by the lake and sat down, enjoying the serenity. In the afternoon, I joined a whale watching tour.
