Wreck of Loch Ard

The Loch Ard Gorge is one of the popular stop-off points when driving down the Great Ocean Road. It is situated in Port Campbell National Park. In 1878, there was a shipwreck in Port Campbell and there were only 2 survivors who were washed ashore. The ship’s name was Loch Ard and that is how Loch Ard Gorge got it’s name. There are a few walking tracks which you can take to fully enjoy the beautiful nature settings at Loch Ard Gorge.
