Plymouth, England Travel Plymouth

#EuropeanTravel #UKTravel #Plymouth Have you heard of Plymouth? Plymouth is an important port in British maritime history. Sir Francis Drake set sail for the first circumnavigation of the world in 1577, and in 1588, he set sail from here to defeat the Spanish Armada. It is also where the Pilgrims headed for the New World in 1620 boarded the Mayflower and headed for America. After sailing, they arrived on the eastern coast of America and settled, and named the town they settled in 'Plymouth', where they came from. As soon as we arrived in Plymouth, we headed to Hoe Park to see the landmark lighthouse. The road was quiet and peaceful. There seemed to be more actual citizens than tourists. Hoe Park When we arrived at Hoe Park, a beautiful view caught our eye. The sea was visible, and behind it, beautiful British buildings lined up as if protecting Hoe Park. The swimming pool you see there is an outdoor swimming pool called 'Tinside Lido', which is a famous swimming pool ranked in the top 10 outdoor swimming pools in Europe. It is open only during the summer season and anyone can use it. I didn't know this information so I couldn't swim, but if I visit Plymouth again someday, I want to swim in that swimming pool looking at the sea in the summer. We sat in the park for a while and took some commemorative photos. I didn't forget to take a photo of Smithton Tower (lighthouse). The hot place in Plymouth was the Barbican. There were many hot restaurants, pubs, and shops facing the numerous boats anchored in Sutton Harbour. The gravel road created an old-fashioned atmosphere, and the buildings had a British feel. If you like port cities and are interested in history, Plymouth is a recommended travel destination with plenty to see and enjoy. If you want to swim, I recommend visiting during the summer season! You will be able to enjoy a true vacation. It takes about 3-4 hours by train from London.
