I’ve been meaning to visit Xuan Cafe 轩•女皇烘焙 for its charming oriental ambiance! Situated in the Taman Sentosa area, this cafe is undeniably IG-worthy, especially its stunning entrance. They even provide props for photo enthusiasts—how thoughtful! Shrimp Laoganma Spaghetti A creative fusion dish featuring perfectly cooked spaghetti coated in a spicy and flavorful Laoganma chili oil sauce. It’s topped with shrimp, crispy garlic, and freshly chopped scallions for an added burst of flavor. While the sauce packed a punch, the prawns were unfortunately not the freshest and felt a little too soft. Truffle Mushroom Soup with Hand-Grabbed Pancake This dish was enjoyable, though the truffle flavor seemed to come primarily from the oil. I liked that the hand-grabbed pancake was served in four pieces and had a texture similar to roti prata—crispy and satisfying. Signature Tiramisu This dessert stood out with its unique presentation in an oriental teacup. It’s topped with pretzel biscuits, blueberries, dried orange slices, and a dollop of cream, all dusted with coffee powder. The flavor was pretty good and complemented the aesthetic presentation. Matcha Lime Cheesecake A beautifully layered dessert with a smooth, earthy matcha base and a tangy lime mousse layer. The cake rests on a buttery biscuit crust and is adorned with whipped cream, a lime slice, and a tart cranberry.
