Visit Xuzhou Aishan Scenic Area

Pizhou Aishan Scenic Area is located at the junction of Jiangsu and Shandong provinces, within the scope of Tiefu Town, Pizhou City, Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. It is one of the three major mountains in northern Jiangsu, comparable to Huaguo Mountain and Yunlong Mountain. It covers an area of 20 square kilometers and has an altitude of 197.2 meters. In ancient times, there was a saying, 'The pinnacle of the nation is Mount Tai; the highest peak of Pizhou is Aishan.' This mountain was the 'national guardian' mountain of the ancient Xu State, where the 'Ai' character cauldron was cast. There is also a legend that every sixty years, magical mugwort grows, and the local people, praying for good fortune and protection, named it Aishan. Due to the nine peaks connected together, resembling nine giant dragons, it is also known as Jiulong Mountain. Pizhou Aishan Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national water conservancy scenic area, a Jiangsu provincial scenic area, and a popular tourist destination in Jiangsu Province.
