Found a perfect summer getaway for a family trip around Mianyang

Decided to spend the weekend with a friend's family at a different place. After checking online, we found a well-reviewed homestay—Yiman Gaocun. We set off after lunch. It used to take 4 hours to drive to Pingwu, but now with the highway, it's very convenient and takes only 2 hours. Upon arrival, they thoughtfully prepared homegrown fruits for us. You can also experience fruit picking yourself. Haha, who can understand the joy of picking fruits?! Since it's close to the Laohegou Nature Reserve, you can enjoy water activities nearby. The water quality is superb and very cool. You can even chill fruits in the water. Both kids and adults had a blast. In the evening, we sat on the lawn, watching the stars and chatting. I wished that moment could slow down. I can't help but introduce our room: Cleanliness/Soundproofing: I give it full marks. It's very clean, and the quilt smells like sunshine. Room Type/Layout: We chose the half-moon pool suite, which has a private yard and pool. Highly recommend this room if you're bringing kids. Amenities/Facilities: They have all the toiletries. We brought our own but didn't need to use them. You can tell the hotel is very thoughtful about their amenities. Restaurant Features: Breakfast was beef noodles cooked by an auntie, and it was delicious. They also have wild vegetables and mushrooms, all-natural and pollution-free. Oh, and their chicken and pork come from local farmers' free-range chickens and grain-fed pigs. The meat is very firm. During our stay, we became like family with the housekeeper and aunties. We love this place and will definitely come back. 💯
