Stay in a 270° Sea View Frame Like a Greek Fairy Tale on Pingtan Island, Fuzhou

At Pingtan Island · Pingtan Ximo Lost Villa Yuxi Cliff Sea View Homestay, my likes on social media hit a new high! The milky white building hangs on the cliff, the infinity pool looks like a sapphire embedded by the sea, and every shot looks like Santorini~ 270° unobstructed sea view room, lie down to watch the sunrise and sunset. The homestay called us thoughtfully a day in advance, knowing we were self-driving, and even sent detailed directions. When we arrived at the parking lot, a young man happily ran over to help with our luggage—no need to lift a finger, so nice! We originally booked a basic room, but the owner upgraded us to a panoramic sea view room for free! The moment we opened the door, my best friend and I both exclaimed “Wow”—a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sea. In the morning, opening the curtains reveals an orange sunrise, and in the evening, snuggling on the sofa watching the sunset dye the sea golden, even the waves on the distant beach are clearly visible. The room has a small private pool; soaking in it at night while counting stars, with the salty sea breeze blowing by—that’s what vacation is all about! The homestay’s design really understands women! The milky white exterior walls paired with the blue pool, the Southeast Asian-style pavilion with a hammock, even the rattan chairs on the restaurant terrace look like carefully arranged props for a photoshoot. While staying, we happened to see a couple shooting wedding photos; the photographer said this is the prime cliff sea view spot in Pingtan, and indeed, every angle looks like a magazine cover. You must check in at the public infinity pool! Around 3 or 4 pm when the sunlight slants, the pool water and the sea merge into one blue, standing at the edge feels like stepping on clouds. I tried on all three dresses I brought, and my friend’s camera memory was almost full~ Just a 1-minute walk downstairs from the homestay is the beach! After the tide recedes, you can see many little crab holes. We followed other guests to collect half a bucket of hermit crabs (released them later). At night, lying on the poolside lounge chairs, feeling the sea breeze and listening to the waves, it feels like all worries are blown away by the ocean wind. Breakfast is a Chinese and Western buffet, with dried small fish porridge and freshly baked croissants. After eating, go to the sea view terrace to daydream and watch the clouds roll by—this is truly “sleeping facing the sea, accompanied by clouds and rosy clouds”~ Tips - Self-driving is most convenient; the homestay has free parking - Contact in advance for possible room upgrades - Bring swimwear! Both the infinity pool and private small pool are great for photos - For sunrise, get up at 5:30 am; the balcony view is excellent This stay was legendary, and I’m already planning my next visit.
