Our favorite seaside homestay for a vacation in Pingtan

This weekend, my family and I decided to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and headed to the southern line of Pingtan, staying at the much-anticipated Hidden Sea cliffside seaside homestay. Departing from Fuzhou, it took us less than two hours by car to reach this tranquil coast. The homestay is located on Pingtan’s southern line, surrounded by many attractions such as Houyan Island, Tannan Bay, and General Mountain, all nearby. The northern line is only about a dozen kilometers away, making transportation very convenient. After dropping off our luggage and resting briefly, we eagerly began our exploration. As soon as we entered the homestay, we were amazed by the stunning view. The entire homestay is surrounded by the sea, with 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering an unobstructed sea view. The creamy design style exudes sophistication, and even the staircase corners are decorated with art installations—every snapshot looks like a masterpiece. Our room was a 180° sea view room, where we could watch the sunrise over the sea right from the bed. In the evening, the sunset dyed the sea red, creating a breathtakingly romantic scene. After the tide receded in the afternoon, we took the kids to explore the beach. There were so many little crabs on the sand that we couldn’t catch them all. Adults and children chased and played on the beach, their laughter echoing in the sea breeze. The homestay thoughtfully provided tools for digging and beachcombing, so even if we forgot to bring our own, there was no need to worry. The homestay’s butler-style service made us feel very warm. Before check-in, the front desk lady called us in advance to inform us of the check-in time and important notes. After check-in, the butler kindly reminded us of the tide schedule so we could better plan our beach activities. This meticulous care made our trip more relaxed and enjoyable. Breakfast at the homestay was complimentary, with a wide variety of delicious options. The room was clean and well-maintained, and disposable bath towels and towels were provided, giving us peace of mind. Staying in such a sea view room felt like being embraced by the ocean, with every moment filled with tranquility and beauty. During our days in Pingtan, the Hidden Sea cliffside seaside homestay left a deep impression on us. Whether it was the excellent location, beautiful environment, thoughtful service, or abundant activities, we felt a strong sense of happiness. This trip was undoubtedly our most satisfying choice in Pingtan.
