Qingdao～Jimo Ancient City

Jimo is an ancient place. The name first appeared in famous historical books such as "Strategies of the Warring States" and "Records of the Grand Historian". According to historians, the ancient city of Jimo was built in the Spring and Autumn Period. It was a country in the east of Qi State. It has many names in history, such as Jiaodong State, Kangwang City, Zhumao City, etc. It is also a famous economic, cultural and political center in the east of Qi State. Later in the Han Dynasty, many princes enjoyed wealth and glory here, including Emperor Jing of Han's son Liu Che, who later became the famous Emperor Wu of Han. However, Jimo disappeared during the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It was not until 2014 that this ancient city was rebuilt in Jimo City.
