Jui Tui Shrine

The Jui Tui Shrine is located at 283 Soi Phutorn, Tambon Talat Nuea, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000, Thailand. The shrine is one of the more popular ones in the Phuket town. Every year during the October season, it is the Nine Emperor God Festival. Hence the buddhist people in Phuket will celebrate this special occasion by wearing white. Some of the lucky people would be chosen to be god for that day. They will go through several rituals and ceremony, including a carnival walk where they would be dressed like the god and goddess, walking around the street to give their blessing.
