SUN-BASKING IN PATONG BEACH

🏖🌊 Patong's 3-kilometer stretch of golden sand is one of Phuket's most popular beaches. There are many parasailing and jet ski operators, boat drivers, beach merchants, and masseuses approaching tourists sitting on the beach. Patong Beach is separated from the main road by a row of coconut, palm, and tropical almond trees. There are vendors selling snacks and drinks in this slightly colder area. During high season, a little sandy creek on the northern part of Patong Beach hides a small sandy creek with very shallow and clean water. The southern end of the island is the mouth of a river, where several fishing boats are moored. The river bridge connects a small fishing community with the different coves and beaches that make up the headland that separates Patong and Karon.
