The locals were impressed by his conduct, so they invited him to build this temple in 1940. The temple was gradually developed. There were monks in Luang Pu Man's lineage who came to practice Dhamma regularly. Wat Pa Huai Lat flourished and developed to be beautiful until today. The highlight of this temple is the brightly colored artwork, especially in the wide area in front of the Sala Chalermprakiat, which is full of sculptures and statues that are decorated intricately. Inside the Sala Chalermprakiat, there is a large white principal Buddha image, 19 meters high, named "Phra Sappanyu Ru Jang Sam Daen Lok That", made of calcite. The background behind the principal Buddha image is a golden Thai pattern that contrasts with the dark background, making the Buddha image stand out beautifully.
