To get from Japan to Phu Quoc Island, it is common to transfer at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, but there are also direct flights from Bangkok in Thailand, so I recommend a two-country trip via Bangkok. I used it at the end of the year, so the plane was playing Christmas-themed background music, which made for a fun flight. The drinks (fruit tea) sold on the plane were also delicious. As it is a low-cost carrier, checked baggage is basically charged, but you can purchase according to the amount of baggage you need, so I purchased an additional 20kg for myself and 15kg for my child, whose suitcase is not as big as an adult's.
